Elements Interactive. Who have put all of their specialism and enthusiasm in
this concept. In the future YachtsClub.com will further develop following the input and know-how of Associate Yacht Brokers worldwide.
In 1975 Ad van der Vliet started as an independent yacht broker in the smaller ranges of yachts. In 1980 at the age of 27, he achieved the official Dutch yachtbroker & valuer certification. The same year an old commercial shipyard in the centre of the historic city of Muiden (ca. 10 Km east of Amsterdam) was purchased and transformed into a modern yachtbrokerage, enabling a permanent boat show for over 150 yachts. The shipyard facilities enabled yachtservice and storage activities for yachts up to 200 tons. Throughout the years, the yachts became larger and the clients more international. From 1985 through to 1995, successful yearly boat shows were organised together with the neighbouring maritime companies.
It became clear that clients, buying and selling yachts, more and more require modular service and support that fit to their needs. The internet offers that possibility. Internet also provides an unimaginable sales and marketing tool. Hence this website. YachtsClub is the name, international yachting the game!
